Janine Ratcliffe is deputy editor of olive magazine and BBC Good Food. Since joining olive back in 2004 she has developed and written thousands of the magazine’s most popular recipes. In 2016 she helped launch the olive podcast and has been a regular host ever since. After gaining a degree in Fine Art and an MA in Film Studies Janine went on to work at The Guardian for 5 years as production manager. She left the Guardian to study for the Chef’s Diploma at Leith's School of Food and Wine and subsequently became a freelance home economist and food writer working on various projects including books, magazines, advertising and TV, before joining olive magazine full time.
